The FED’s Salto Mortale
Fed Speak:
The Alcalde's loony limpid linguistics and implausible infantile calculations has surgically excised the complex calculations and projections of carbohydrates and hydrocarbons.
Meanwhile, The Alcalde’s afflatus to impugn inflation, has caused an ebullient ecumenical economy effectuated by a tumescent hyperbolical housing bubble.
This week the market will wait with baited breath for the supreme afflatus to make a proclamation concerning the direction and duration of the Alcazar' future interest rates, which will have very little effect on the overall economy. As I have written before at the docstockclock group, the Fed only has a six shooter. The fed has always been behind curve when they have been raising rates or cutting rates. Looking at the Alcalde’s last statement of "risk assessment", if they continue to raise rates, there will be less harm to the economy in the in the future than deferring the next series of rate hikes and risking the economy to a 70's style misery index. Once again, afflatus has (nolens volens) painted the Alcazar into a corner, concerning the direction of interest rate hikes. If the Alcalde stays neutral, the market may perceive it as a fundamental weakness in the economy. If he continues to raise rates, the market may perceive the Alcazar is behind the curve again. If he pauses interest rate hike, the market may pause also it's irrational exuberance". I have one question for all those newsletter writers who are professional stock pickers, "if one disasters is good for the economy, how about 2 or 3 more disasters?". Shouldn't the market now be at all time highs? After all, doesn't the Alcazar just print more money to pay for the fantasy land we are living in? Yes, the hurricane season in not over until May of 2006 and the word for today is tropical depression 18, otherwise know as hurricane Rita. Just what the gulf wanted, another chance for the stock market to rally, right?
Meanwhile, the stock market fantasy land, the baby boomers fund managers are continuing to create a "tulip bulb" market with the infusion of baby boomers' 401(k) plans. The number of stocks trading above their 200 day moving average is still hovering around 67%, a figure that is beyond a healthy long term trend. The stock market has not been able to accurately discount the future due to the massive amount of program trading that has been supporting high prices. No one is concerned about an 87' crash, which led to the market to creating trading curbs. The psychology of "buy on the dips" has firmly embedded in the minds of the soon to be bindlestiffs fund managers.
The new perma-bulls continuing belief that the market will continue to go higher forever, although it has failed to reach any new all time highs since 2000! To see the irrational exuberance of our times, witness the talk about all the infusion of federal money to help the victims of Katrina, to rebuild, to create more jobs. The perma-bulls short sighted vision, the jobs to rebuild with federal inflated dollars will be a boon for all stock prices as well as the economy. They have failed to see past the next quarterly earnings reports and notice that all federal spending is nothing more than inflationary and pork barrel politics.
Katrina, says the headlines,” Katrina devastation highlights poverty of the U.S. Blacks", "Hurricane exposes issues of class, race"
"Anarchy in the USA", declared Britain's best selling newspaper "the Sun"., Apocalypse Now" headlined Germany's Handelsblatt daily. Once again, the American short sightedness of looking at the problems that any national crisis causes and not at the cure! The bureaucracy of all levels of government can never provide all things to all people. We are told by homeland security agency that everyone should prepare and emergency evacuation kit for any emergency because federal, state, and local government my not be there to help. How many people had emergency kits in Katrina’s path? The democratic news media was beating the drums of "Federal Help Now", reinforcing the expansion of government bureaucracy. Yet, despite the cry for federal government's help, you and the world witnessed the slow methodical course of a big government bureaucracy. I about fell out of my chair to hear Hilarious Clinton recommend that FEMA be removed from the government bureaucracy of the homeland security agency, and be given it's own cabinet post!
The American people were the FIRST responders, not the government bureaucracy. The charitable organizations were FIRST to bring aid, once the government bureaucracy was removed. The individual Americans, not the American government, have given to charitable organizations their time and their money to help, were FIRST!
No government agency was need to confiscate (ie. taxes) their gifts of time and money.
The real challenges facing this nation is to eliminate the government bureaucracy at all levels. That lesson should be the only message given to the American people.
Katrina unmasked the maximum level of incompetence of a government bureaucracy.
Yet, I feel that message will not be told, will not be learned, and nothing will change with the next disaster. I feel that it an insurmountable task to wean the American poor people of the national feed trough. The political party of the poor cannot lose their base of support. For example: HUD has identified over 34,000 public housing units throughout America, keeping the poor in generational poverty, and might I add keeping the poor people voting for the party of the poor people within the same democratic districts?
WE THE PEOPLE, give our poor people everything, health insurance, prescription drugs, food, housing, utility assistances, etc... and all that we required from them is to vote! We have done this for over 40 years, since the "war on poverty" was embarked on by Lyndon Johnson, and yet we have created generational poor people who cannot see the vision of America. The American poor can't have the same visions of the newly arrived immigrants, because of their generational dependency on government support.
However, I see those who come to this country with nothing, and build their American dreams. The American poor people see the immigrants starting businesses in their poverty stricken areas, and they feel justified in looting, not for food or clothing, but for materialist wants and desires. To make matters worse, we have Hollywood celebrities justifying the looting and reinforcing the cry for more federal government's help.
"WE THE PEOPLE, IN ORDER TO FORM A MORE PERFECT UNION", have created the next apocalypse which could happen with T.D. 18. Yes, the hurricane season in not over until May of 2006. T.D. 18 will be named hurricane Rita, and it may cause the Alcalde to salto motale. Take any major city in America, turn off the electricity, gas, and water for 3 days and see what happens. Massive amount of poor Americans huddled together in small democratic districts in every major city. Yet, who comes to their aid first? Not those who’s political careers are dependent on the poor, but those Americans who are not dependent on the government feed trough.
Michael Savage
has the perfect solution to help those displaced by Katrina, and it doesn't cost a dime in federal money. His solution also breaks the poverty zone by distributing poor Americans around to the country. But since there is no "kickbacks" to the local, state, and federal politicians, his plan will never be enacted. Instead of relocating the poor to military bases which are scheduled to close, which already has an infrastructure of schools, housing, and government recourses, costing us, the tax payers, much less than the figures we are being quoted. We, the u.s. tax payers are being told to re-create the poverty utopia in the same location that mother nature cleansed! You have to ask yourself a rational question, “ Is there a direct correlation between the political party of "the poor people" to maintain it’s status by keeping the majority of the poor people in the gerrymandering zones? Ah, you say, there is a political agenda when it comes to maintaining political power. Maybe, just maybe, if the poor people were relocated and redistributed among the hard working American people, the poor people could become self resilient and not dependant upon political hand outs.
During the last federal election, you can see the self reliant spirit in the red area's of the country and those who want government help in the blue areas of the country. (by states)
(by counties)
The American poor people, WITHOUT A VISION FOR A BETTER FUTURE ARE DESTINED TO FAIL. The American poor people’s democratic party continues to keep them in a poverty stricken mind set, that they cannot do anything without the political help. These politicians, are the poverty pimps. They want increase their ranks by every high school drop out, every drug user, ever un-skilled worker, every new child that is born to without a stable family structure. If you listen to the poverty pimps who are keeping you in financial bondage for the last 40 years, your future is doomed. America’s shining future is doomed also, because we cannot continue to support your life style on the backs of the American tax payers. Sure, things won’t be easy, you will have to work hard, study hard, live by society rules and laws, just as every American does without taking from the federal feed trough.
The New American Vision must be led by positive leadership and not by the strong arm of the law nor the weak kneed liberal handout. We, in the lifeboat called America, need the positive contributions from those who have only taken from our the government feed trough. In order to form a more perfect union, we need all of our citizens to advance through the ranks of poverty, to the middle class, and upward with a pioneering spirit that all things are possible without the government’s help! There are good positive leaders who rely on self resiliency. These good leaders do not blame government for it's short failings. The good leader's do not rely on reciprocity from a political party who claims they represent the poor. The good leaders are those who offer a solution to the on going problems of poverty, without blaming government for it’s short fallings.
To be ahead of the curve in the future, we need to rekindle that self reliant pioneering spirit in all American, rich and poor!
God Bless
Doc
